Liberty and the DMA conducted a PCS Provider Training webinar on Friday, October 28, 2016.
A PCS stakeholder webinar was conducted by Ellen Newby, Assistant Attorney General, N.C. Department of Justice on January 6, 2016 to review the Pettigrew v. Brajer, (previously, Pashby v. Wos) federal lawsuit filed on May 31, 2011. This lawsuit is certified by the Court as a class action lawsuit on behalf of persons age twenty-one and older denied or terminated from in-home Medicaid Personal Care Services since May 2011.
DMA conducted a training webinar on 3 separate dates - December 8th, 14th, and 29th, 2015. The webinar provided information on the process to coordinate Hospice and Personal Care Services for adults residing in their private primary residence.
